United Nations 21st session, Geneve

Introduction:
On the 24th of July 2003 we had the privilege to give a declaration and a presentation at the 21st session of the United Nations in Geneva.
We gave information about the world wide situation of the needs of the Gypsies and especially the position of the Romanian Gypsies.
The organisation was represented by mr. B. Schmidt, (speaker and board member WWZN) mr.H. de Vlugt (coordinator WWZN) mr.M.Wolters (chairman WWZN) and mr.W.M McKenzie (coordinator USA).and as guest speaker Dr hc Randolp Muller from the Mena Muria Foundation.

A rapport has been presented about the Roman Gypsies and contacts has been made with representatives of large organisations from several countries.
By putting the spotlights on the needs of this group of people, their problems can no longer being unknown and unseen, but a solution can be given with the proper help.
